Sprint Center
The recently opened Sprint Center Arena is located in Downtown Kansas City in the Power & Light District. Less than five miles from the Kansas City InterContinental Hotel, the Sprint Center will be the region’s premier venue and is expected to host more than 100 events a year, including concerts, family shows, special events as well as professional, collegiate and amateur sporting events.
With headliner concerts including The Eagles, Britney Spears, ACDC and Celine Dion in addition to the many family friendly events such as Sesame Street Live, Harlem Globetrotters and Disney on Ice, the Sprint Center has something to offer everyone. The Sprint Center is also home to the College Basketball Experience, a world class entertainment facility connected to Sprint Center by the Grand Lobby, is two floors and 41,500 square feet of basketball exuberance. It houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, where visitors can honor college basketball legends and learn about the history of the game.
