Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway, home to many NASCAR championships and more, opened its gates in June, 2001 for its inaugural race weekend.
Strategically located at the intersection of I-435 and I-70 in Kansas City, KS (approximately 15 miles from InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza), the 1.5 mile tri-oval course is suitable for all types of car racing. Additionally, there is a six-turn 2.37-mile road course that twists through the infield.
The facility seats over 72,000 and accommodates racing fans that includes 65 rows of seating plus a unique ground level concourse.
And as for parking? It’s free and has a capacity for 35,000 vehicles!
